About Us
New York / New Jersey Tri-State Hope for Ethiopia, Inc. (H4E) was established by a group of concerned Ethiopian-Americans who reside in the Tri-State Regions of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, in March 2021. Its major goal is to strive for and support a promotion of a democratic process in Ethiopia, within a context of advancing its security, territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Food Security
Feeding children, disabled persons, the elderly, and those with high food insecurity is one of our most immediate charity works. H4E support’s Ethiopian farmers by purchasing locally and directly provides food to beneficiaries with no intermediaries. Your donations will support our long-term commitment to food security
Shelter
Ethiopia hosts over 4.51 million (UNHCR, 2022) internally displaced persons, primarily due to conflict. Your donation will go directly to building emergency shelters for these families in dire need.
Materials
H4E provides various locally produced cooking materials – including modern injera-making stoves (metad). We also provide cloths for children and adults as well as blankets.

Ethiopian Diaspora Agency is recognizing the effort and awarded the NY Tristate Hope for Ethiopia (H4E) for motivating and engaging Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopians within the Tristate area.
The Archdiocese of Holy Synod of Ethiopia Orthodox Tewahedo Church ⛪️ in New York and its surrounding area appreciates the unconditional help Hope for Ethiopia (H4E) is giving to the drought areas.
The Afar regional state of Ethiopia extends its applications to the NY-based Hope for Ethiopia (H4E) to reach out to the Afar people during difficult times. H4E is a true organization reaching out to people who need aid.
